The correct steps for using a household rice mill

Installation inspection

(1). The rice mill should be installed on a pre-prepared cement foundation. The bottom surface of the rice mill should be in good contact with the foundation. Before tightening the anchor bolts, there should be no gap to ensure the main shaft after the anchor bolts are tightened. Be in harmony with the screen frame. If the foundation is uneven, causing the main shaft to be eccentric, phenomena such as grains of rice within grains, rice breakage, and eccentric wear of the sieve will occur.

(2). After attaching the V-belt connected to the electric motor (or diesel engine), remove the exhaust port, drum nut, drum, screen rod and propeller, and measure whether the main shaft is at the center. If eccentricity of the main shaft is found, the following adjustments should be made:

A, eccentric on both sides. Loosen the four connecting bolts between the blower housing and the rice mill base, but do not remove them. Add an adjusting gasket at the connection position, add a gasket on the right side, add a gasket on the left side, and then add an adjusting gasket on the left side until the adjustment does not deviate from the center.

B, upward bias. Loosen the four connecting bolts between the blower housing and the base of the rice mill, but do not remove them. At the same time, add adjusting shims on both sides until the top and bottom are not eccentric.

C, tilt downward. Loosen the four connecting bolts between the suction fan housing and the base of the rice mill, but do not remove them. At the same time, add adjusting shims on both sides until the top and bottom are not eccentric.

(3). As the bolts at the joints of the rice mill may loosen during transportation, the following parts of the newly purchased rice mill should be inspected

A. Check whether the two nuts that fix the large pulley on the shaft are tightened.

B. Remove the bearing covers at both ends of the large pulley, take off the locking plate, and check whether the nut is locked and fastened to the bushing.

C. Check whether the flat head bolts that fix the small pulleys of the suction fan and the blower on the shaft are tightened.
