Noise control in the whitening room
To better control the noise in the whitening room, the equipment, operation and protection of all components of the whitening room should be taken into consideration to achieve the purpose of control and management.
(1) To ensure the smooth operation of the rice mill and reduce vibration, it is necessary to check the level of the rice mill equipment and tighten the anchor bolts. A static balance test must be conducted before using the grinding rollers. The method is: Place both ends of the sand roller shaft on the calibrated horizontal knife-edge ruler or two parallel brackets and roll it multiple times. If the direction remains unchanged after each stop, it indicates that the roller is focused on the lower side. At this point, roll 1 to 2 sand rollers 180 degrees and then start adjusting the experimental focus from the beginning. If it remains untreated, a sand roller scraper can be used to scrape off part of the surface layer of the sand in a specific direction, so balance must be achieved. The use of sand rollers that are concerned about the severity but actually cannot be corrected should be stopped; otherwise, the machine's understanding of the sand roller equipment that is concerned about the severity in production will vibrate violently, and even damage the rollers and equipment.
(2) The appearance of the sand roller is uneven. Use a sand roller scraper to smooth it out. When dressing the sand roller, the bottom and edge of the trough should be rounded to reduce damage to the rice grains. When repairing, the sand roller should be installed on the shaft, with the shaft at the top, to prevent the sand roller from touching the ground and damaging the sand surface. During the trimming process, tap gently, cut quickly, and keep the groove size correct.
(3) When rolling the roller device, the ribs or grooves of each roller must be aligned, and the joints should be smooth. When installing the grinding roller, a cardboard layer 0.20 to 0.5 millimeters thick should be placed between the grinding roller and the screw conveyor to prevent the grinding roller from loosening, misalignment and damage. During the installation process, due to the effect of the end pulley, the shaft of the sand roller should be upright on the ground. Do not rest on the ground, nor install the equipment in the horizontal direction, as it is not easy to tighten and the sand surface is prone to wear.
(4) If the sand roller has cracks, it must not be used. If there are obvious depressions and defects on the roller surface, it should be replaced or repaired in time.
(5) When installing the rice sieve, keep it flat and avoid the phenomenon of high or low centers at both ends. The joints of the rice sieve should be connected horizontally to avoid overlapping. Reverse overlapping is not allowed. The gap at the joint should not exceed 2mm to prevent the rice grains from making greater noise when bumped or crushed.
(6) The parts and equipment in the whitening room should be smooth and flat, without any unevenness. The sieve strips and the rice knife should be flat without sharp edges to prevent damage to the rice grains. When the rice mill is in operation, there should be a certain amount of brown rice left in the hopper. It is not allowed to have "missing material", "sticking material" or "empty running". During the normal operation of the rice mill, it is also necessary to maintain a stable flow rate.
(8) After the machine stops, the wear conditions of components such as the sand roller, rice knife and rice sieve should be frequently inspected. If the wear is severe, it should be repaired and replaced in time.
(9) Bearings should be regularly oiled and cleaned, and should always be kept smooth.
