Operation method

Place the rice mill on the workbench and plug in the power plug.

2. Determine the whitening time and adjust the timing knob.

3. Remove the lumps from the funnel and put 17 to 20 grams of brown rice (with a moisture content not exceeding 15%) into the funnel, allowing it to flow into the whitening chamber. Press the power button to start, and then lower the pressure block.

At the specified time, the rice mill will automatically stop and the hopper will be removed first to clear the husks. Then plug in the receiving hopper, remove the pressure block, turn the front rotation handle to the right to make the rice in the whitening chamber fall into the receiving hopper, turn the timing knob to 0, press the power button, let the grinding wheel idle for a few seconds to make all the rice grains in the whitening chamber fall off, and then pull out the receiving hopper. After sieving, the measured rice is obtained.

Relevant precautions

Before the brown rice enters the hopper, it should be checked for any metal or stones to avoid damaging the grinding wheel.

After whitening, pull out the front rotating block and clean the remaining rice sugar in the whitening chamber thoroughly to avoid affecting the accuracy of the sample.

3. The sample size and albinism time should be determined based on the variety of brown rice. For low-precision samples, the sample size is 17-18g and the albinism time is slightly shorter. The high-precision sample size is 20g, and the whitening time is slightly longer.

4. When the machine has been in use for a long time and runs above brown rice with a high moisture content, if the rice bran adheres to the grinding wheel and affects the fineness of the whiteness, you can remove the grinding wheel with a wrench, brush off the rice husk powder with a wire brush, and then put it back in its original position.
