一、Purpose, scope of use, and performance characteristics

The MPGW-15 rice polishing machine is used for rice polishing and is supplied to rice processing plants for use in the production process. The characteristics of MPGW-15 rice polishing machine are large air flow for rice screening, sufficient bran removal, and low rice temperature.

This machine can adjust the feed flow rate, internal pressure, water replenishment, and air volume according to the differences in rice quality in different regions and the different requirements for rice processing accuracy, and can obtain rice of various accuracies.

The overall structure is shown in Figure 1:

The host consists of six parts: feeding, frame, polishing, discharging, replenishing water, and driving.

The feeding section is mainly composed of electrically controlled material inlet inserts, hopper seats, feeding hoppers, etc., and the feeding flow rate can be accurately controlled through buttons.

The rack section is mainly composed of a rack, an upward draft, side doors, a chaff hopper, a protective cover, etc.

The polishing part mainly consists of the spindle pulley, spindle, feed bearing seat, screw propeller, polishing roller, rice screen, screen frame, discharge bearing seat, etc.

The discharge part mainly consists of pressure valves, pressure weights, and rice discharge nozzles.

The water making process consists of a water tank, water pipes, flow meters, water guns, etc.

The driving part is mainly composed of motor pulley, motor base plate, motor, etc.

三、Working principle and process flow

Working principle:

White rice is fed into the polishing chamber through a flow control mechanism and then transported by a screw propeller,

Water and compressed air converge at the nozzle, causing the water to atomize and evenly spread on the surface of the white rice. The white rice, after being treated with water, rotates and moves forward at a certain linear speed under the action of the polishing roller, and causes friction between the rice grains and the rice sieve to achieve surface polishing; At the same time, under the wind force of the phoenix net, the bran powder is forced to separate from the rice grains and be discharged through the sieve holes into the polishing chamber.

In order to ensure the stability of the entire process flow, this machine is equipped with a control cabinet, which realizes the functions of automatic water supply, replenishment, water cut-off, and overload protection during the process.

a. Motor protection control circuit: realizing on/off control and phase failure protection of motor equipment;

b. Water supply control circuit: To achieve automatic control of water supply, the starting current for automatic water supply is generally set to -- A. When the current is less than -- A or greater than -- A, which is not in normal operation, the control circuit will cut off the water supply.                                      

四、Installation of equipment

    When opening the box, please first extract and inspect the random file bag, and hand it over to a designated person for storage and safekeeping. Check and count the random accessories and spare parts according to the packing list. If there are any omissions, please contact the distributor or manufacturer in a timely manner to resolve them.

The installation foundation of this machine must be firm and the level must be verified.

3. After the equipment is positioned, check whether there is a gap between the bottom surface of the equipment and the ground. A hard material gasket must be made to eliminate the gap, and the equipment should be adjusted to the horizontal level. Then, pre tighten the foot (expansion) bolts.

4. Adjust the motor base, motor, and motor pulley so that the axis of the spindle pulley and motor pulley are parallel and in the same plane.

Adjust the tension of the transmission belt by adjusting the nuts on the four bolts of the motor base (press the belt by hand, with a deformation range of 10-15mm); Then, review and adjust the geometric relationship between the spindle pulley and the motor pulley again; Finally, tighten all screws and nuts and install the protective cover.

五、Debugging and operation of equipment

The debugging of equipment should be carried out by experienced or trained qualified technicians under the guidance of engineering and technical personnel.

1. Due to the possibility of loose fasteners or foreign objects falling during transportation and installation, a comprehensive inspection of the equipment must be conducted before starting:

    a.  Full body inspection of equipment: flexibility of rotating parts, tightness of fasteners, flexibility of adjusting parts, reliability of locking parts, correctness of instrument switches, and completeness and clarity of identification parts.

    b.  Check the feeding hopper: remove foreign objects, clean the inner cavity, and observe the inserts.

    c.  Check the polishing room: Rotate the spindle by hand to check for any bumps, scratches, abnormal noises, etc.

    d.  Power on inspection: Check whether various instruments and switches are correct and effective.

2. After the above checks and adjustments are completed, the empty test run can be carried out:

    a.  Close the discharge gate and lift the air plate, and adjust the discharge pressure gate pressure to the minimum.

    b.  Jog and check the rotation direction of the spindle (as indicated by the arrow facing the protective cover, the spindle pulley should rotate clockwise).

    c.  After starting, pay attention to observing whether the empty vehicle current and wave amplitude are normal. (Empty car current should be less than - A)

    d.  After running empty for 30 minutes, the bearing parts should be checked: there should be no abnormal noise, the temperature rise should not feel hot, and there should be no continuous temperature rise.

3. Only after normal operation can it enter the feeding operation:

    a.  Slowly open the discharge gate and gradually adjust the flow rate; Synchronize and gradually move the position of the pressure weight to adjust the precision of rice processing.

    b.  When adjusting flow and precision, special attention should be paid to observing changes in current and overloading operation is strictly prohibited.

4. When stopping the machine, the flow meter should be turned off first, followed by the feed gate. The power supply should be turned off after the materials in the machine are empty.

The operation of the equipment should effectively achieve:

1. Training on duty, dedicated personnel responsible, monitoring at all times, and timely disposal.

2. During equipment operation, protective devices must be complete and reliable; No one is allowed to touch rotating parts.

3. Regularly pay attention to the negative pressure inside the machine, and adjust the inlet air regulating plate when it is too high.

4. When vulnerable parts such as iron rollers, screw propellers, feed liners, rice screens, and pads are worn to the point of affecting production or accuracy, they should be replaced in a timely manner.

六、Maintenance and upkeep of equipment

When repairing, inspecting, and maintaining equipment, it is necessary to interrupt the material flow, cut off the power supply, and assign a dedicated person to be on duty or hang prominent warning signs.

During the production process, there may be rice bran scars on the feeding hopper, hopper seat, feeding and discharging liner, rice sieve, and rice nozzle, which directly affect the yield and accuracy and need to be removed in a timely manner.

3. If there is a car jam, the rice sieve bracket and sieve must be removed, and the blocked materials in the iron roller, rice sieve, screw propeller and other parts must be thoroughly cleared until the main shaft pulley can be rotated by hand.

Before stopping each shift, the materials must be removed and the rice bran must be emptied.

After about a month of equipment operation, a comprehensive inspection of the bearings must be conducted, and qualified lubricating oil (grease) should be replaced or added in a timely manner.

6. For vulnerable parts such as iron rollers, screw propellers, feed liners, rice screens, and cushion strips, the degree of wear must be regularly checked and replaced in a timely manner.

Before the equipment is idle, it must be thoroughly cleaned to prevent scarring, mold, insect and rodent damage, and proper protection should be taken; Before reuse, the working surface must be derusted and cleaned; Inspect and lubricate bearings; Inspect and adjust the transmission chain

七、Common faults and solutions

When a new machine is first put into use or vulnerable parts are replaced, due to the high pressure inside the machine, there are often phenomena such as inability to increase production and over throwing. At this time, the rice sieve must be cleaned of oil and rust, and the feed flow rate must be reduced to completely eliminate external pressure (i.e. the pressure valve should be completely lifted). After 1-2 shifts of running in, the normal effect can be gradually achieved.
